Bugfreak Academy (also known as Bugfreak Mastery) — Terms and Conditions

Last Updated: December 30, 2025

Welcome to Bugfreak Academy. These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your participation in our mentorship programs, online courses, and use of our website. By enrolling or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Who We Are

Bugfreak Academy (“we,” “our,” or “us”) provides mentorship and cybersecurity training designed to help individuals grow through personalized guidance. Our programs focus on one-on-one mentorship to support learning, skill development, and practical experience.

For details on how we collect, use, and protect your personal data, please refer to our [Privacy Policy].

2. Course Enrollment

a. You must provide accurate, current, and complete information during registration. Providing false or misleading information may result in suspension or termination of enrollment.

b. Bugfreak Academy reserves the right to accept or reject any enrollment application at its sole discretion.

3. Course Content

a. All course materials are provided for educational purposes only and must not be used for illegal, unethical, or malicious activities.

b. You may not reproduce, distribute, or share any course content without prior written permission from Bugfreak Academy.

4. Code of Conduct

a. All enrollees must maintain professional and respectful conduct toward instructors/mentors, staff, and fellow participants.

b. Harassment, discrimination, or disrespectful behavior will not be tolerated. Violations may result in expulsion, termination of access, or legal action as permitted by law.

5. Mentorship & Communication

a. Mentees are expected to provide regular feedback to assigned mentors through the Academy’s official communication channels. This ensures continuous learning and progress.

b. Bugfreak Academy may monitor or document communications if misconduct, rule violations, or concerning behavior are reasonably suspected.

c. Interactions outside official channels are outside the scope of Bugfreak Academy’s responsibilities or liability.

d. Mentees are responsible for protecting their own privacy during mentorship communication. Sharing personal credentials or unrelated private information is discouraged.

6. Scheduled One-on-One Sessions

a. Live mentorship sessions are scheduled at mutually agreed times. Mentors provide guidance directly on the mentee’s system only during the session.

b. Scheduled one-on-one live sessions typically last up to 1 hour, conducted via audio call only. Video communication is intentionally excluded for both mentor and mentee to maintain focus, reduce distractions, and promote a more interactive and hands-on technical learning environment. Scheduled one-on-one live sessions duration may be adjusted when mutually agreed upon.

c. The duration of each mentorship program runs continuously from the official start date until the end of the agreed training period. The program timeline operates on a full-cycle basis, which means time continues to count toward the program regardless of personal availability, missed sessions, or breaks requested by the mentee.

d. Mentorship programs cannot be paused or placed on hold by the mentee for any reason once the program has started.

If a scheduled class does not take place due to an issue originating from our side, the session will be rescheduled and the corresponding day will be added to the mentee’s program duration.

Any such adjustments will be communicated through the customer service representative assigned to the mentee and mentor via the official mentorship platform.

Screen Sharing and Privacy

e. Mentees control screen-sharing access and may end it at any time. Mentors cannot access systems outside scheduled sessions.

f. Any guidance provided on a mentee’s system is performed strictly under the mentee’s direction and control.

g. Information shared during sessions is confidential and intended solely for educational purposes. Recording or sharing session content without consent is prohibited.

7. Intellectual Property

a. All intellectual property, including course materials, presentations, graphics, and trademarks, remains the sole property of Bugfreak Academy.

b. You may not copy, modify, use, or commercially exploit any materials without prior written consent.

8. Liability Disclaimer

a. Participation in Bugfreak Academy programs is at your own risk.

b. Bugfreak Academy is not responsible for any direct or indirect losses, damages, or injuries resulting from participation.

c. Students are solely responsible for how they apply knowledge gained. We are not liable for data loss, system misconfiguration, or security issues during sessions.

d. All mentorship content is for educational purposes and does not constitute professional advice.

11. Course Changes and Cancellations

a. Bugfreak Academy may modify course content, instructors, schedules, or delivery methods as needed.

b. In the event of course cancellation, we will provide notice and reasonable alternatives or rescheduling options.
